Hi everybody.
I recently bought a Kurzweil SP4-8. Im glad with it.
The only thing i can't get along is the spit function... I use split a lot, and it really annoys me that the secondary voice is set by default to the left side, so if i want to change the right hand voice i got to unsplit, change the program, then spilt again.
I searched the manual and several forums and didn't found a way to change this. Can anybody help me?

Thanks a lot!

Hi,

The split is just a quick way to create a setup. In order to make it simple, the SP4 split assumes that the split voice you want to add is the lower one. BUT, if you want to change the upper one, is as simple as Saving that split, then go to edit Setup and there change the programs of the 2 zones.

So, yeah, simplicity does it for 90% of the people. But the other 10% still has a way to do that in edit Setup mode.

Regards,
Fran

Thanks! Sorry, i'm new to this!

By the way, could you recommend me some tool to manage the keyboard's programs? If it's free, better!

I use this, but it is not free. ;)
But if you settle, this other tool is free:
Win32
Win64
OS X
Enjoy.
