I have a PC3le7.. The user memory has 16,000 locations for user objects.. Does this mean I can have 16,000 new "Programs"/sounds.. weather it be by creating my own, or loading them via usb, and saving them? I plan to buy some extra sounds for my LE, and I just want some clarification regarding memory? Can I really have 16000 programs on my LE, if I got around to it? Is the memory that big? I'm a sound junkie, and if the LE can hold more sounds than what is originally on it, I'm in love. And if you got place where I can shop for programs that are compatible for the LE, shoot them this way.
Cheers
And some brief info on how to load them in my pc3le.. If you don't mind. Thanks!
Anything that can be saved is an object. So, program, setup, FX chain, song, etc... everything is an object. You should be aware that 16000 is a very rough estimate and in practice it's a fair bit smaller number, because it depends on the size of the object (a 32 layer program will take more space than a 1 layer program, a 16 zone setup will take more space than a 1 zone setup, etc.).
In any case, you should have room for at least 1000 user programs in any case.
Loading objects is covered in the manual, check the section about Storage mode. ![]()

Evil Dragon, you're the man, your everywhere huh? You seem to know your ISH. Would love to hear some of your music man.
Appriciate all the help.
EvilDragon is absolutely right. That's a max number if all the object are very small. Imagine a keymap object with 1 velocity level and only 1 key range. That object will take very little. The same a sample header will be really small. Or QA banks, or Shift/Velocity Patterns. You could 2560 of each of those and that will fit without problems. There are many small objects that the user can generate. Now, 16 zone setups, 32 layer programs, those are way bigger and you will fit the internal memory in the lower 1000's.
