...I'm just used to more of a synth action...and am having a bit of difficulty adjusting to the new semi weighted keyboard. Is there a global setting I can punch in that fine tunes the velocity settings to ramp it up? I'm not sure I'm using the correct terminology here but I'm finding that the heavier action on the keys is leaving me in a place where I am somewhat less expressive on this keyboard than on a pure synth action board. This is not a slag on this PC3LE7 at all, it's just that I'd like the lows (light touch) to be lower in volume and the highs (playing much more forcefully) to have more volume.....
I love the build quality of this keyboard and am very happy with my purchase (used). I'm now a big Kurzweil fan.
Thanks a bunch.

Thanks, probably Kurz 101 to most here but I'm still tryin' to get a handle on this new keyboard. Having taken piano lessons from age 7 through age 13 I was used to piano action. Then back in the 80's I got into synths and synth action. I use my Alesis QS's (a few of them) for midi controllers because they're a steal on ebay and are touch sensitive and have aftertouch....and can be had for a song .....dirt cheap.
So over the years I've adapted my playing to those keybeds and have not had a problem with articulation with piano sounds...
Then I land this Kurz for a hell of a price and have to get used to a different feel as to what I've been playing for 15 years.
I gotta say I was not liking it until 2 nights ago and then something just "clicked" in my head.... So I was playing piano sounds and then everything fell into place and I was like 96% "happy" with the new feel. So again, thanks for this input, sorry for such a stupid question but sometimes a simple answer can save hours of poking around for a n00b like me.
I'm very happy with my "used" purchase and am really considering saving my pennies for a PC3K
De nada chum. I was a noob myself less than a year ago. Still am in many ways. These keyboards are REALLY REALLY DEEP~!~ ![]()
