I am trying to create a Setup where I control zones 1 and 2 from the PC3 keyboard and zones 3 and 4 from an external controller connected via midi. How do I setup the Setup so that the PC3 keyboard only plays zone 1 and 2 and the external controller only plays 3 and 4?
In zone 3&4 on the key-vel page set 'notemap' to off. Also set these zones to a different midi channel than zones 1&2. Then set the other midi controller to send on the same midi channel that you set zones 3&4 to. Also, read midi mode (chapter 10) in the manual focusing on the receive page. Depending on what you are trying to do and how many midi channels you want the PC3 to receive on you may need to put the PC3 in multi mode to receive incoming midi messages on several channels. I was assuming you only want the PC3 to receive on one midi channel and that the external controller was only sending on that same midi channel.
