Hi there,
I got my new KURZWEIL PC3K6 with KORE64 installed and Ribbon controller yesterday and I'm so happy with it. It's a used one but it looks mostly new – the display protection still is on it and there's only one scratch on the left side frame.
I play in a cover band and so I need much sound on less weight (and dimensions) in comparison to my Alesis Fusion 8HD or some computer based solutions with thousands of parts, which have to be connected every time I want to use it on rehearsal/stage. So I think the decision to buy the smallest version of the PC3K was absolutely right.
I may will take an additional lightweight hammer action keyboard (have an FATAR 88/TP100LR keybed here) within a lightweight housing, so it has a maximum weight of ~10 kg (+ 14 kg for the KURZ), which is really a portable solution for me.
It was just about one year after I bought my Alesis Fusion 8HD when the PC3 came out and I was so in trouble because it came to late for me. All I wished the PC3 additionally should had have, was a possibility to use own samples. When the PC3K-series came out, for myself I thought "This exactly is what you've been looking for".
Now the Alesis Fusion 8HD is on sale and I'm COMPLETELY in love with the KURZ.
Additional story to this: While I was looking for the PC3(K) on some classified ads platforms, I found an damaged K2500S for 50€ (some buttons didn't work correctly and the analog outs were humming).
I asked a good friend of mine from Berlin, If he would like to have the K2500S and repair it for himself. He didn't know much about this item, but he liked it after watching some YT videos and reading the algorithm reference. So I bought the K2500S and took it to him yesterday (and yes, it was a logistic challenge to take the K2500S AND buying the PC3K6 on one day)...I'll tell you the continuation of this story (in the next few weeks I hope).
Kind regards to all members here ![]()

Hello and greetings from (near) Heidelberg.
I also own the 6 (non K) version and love the portability and low weight. It still feels professional under my hands, I just have to hop with the octaves sometimes. But it´s really cool to have it all together in a small package on stage.
The only thing I miss is a "K" in my version... But can´t afford it right now.
