Hi Guys,
i'm new to this forum but i've been active in the now closed Sonikmatter forum.
I've been using Kurzweil synths since i was 17 and they even were my first synths ever. Disregarding the pretty old samples (except K64) compared to other manufacturers i learned how well they were recorded and that you can't rely on anything more in a live setting, than on Kurzweil synths.
I'm playing live most of the time but my PC3 also functions as a MIDI controller for my software based stuff (only for recording). I switched over to the PC3 coming from the PC3LE7, which was great to begin with but after a year lacked the power i needed.
I'm active in my own band making some kind of Symphonic Folk/Death/Black Metal where i'm composing almost all songs and mixing all albums/demos. Those who are interested: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KC_1USTqtLc
The Youtube channel also contains videos where i can more or less be seen using my old PC3LE7. Very big orchestral sound. There's no better company for this than Kurzweil.
My other bands are just cover bands. We use to play very Hard Rock/Classic Rock sets. E.g. Rainbow, Deep Purple, Uriah Heep, Queen etc. The KB3 is absolutely awesome and blows Nord off stage if you tweak the rotary a bit. Can't complain about the pianos and e-pianos. They sound a bit thin played solo but cut through all the guitars with no problem! Let's see how the Artis sounds ![]()
I mainly came to this forum for the sounds but i think i may also start uploading some sounds myself. Never done this before.
That's it. Not much more left to say
