Hello everybody!
My name is Elena. I am in the general Baltimore area, but gig throughout MD/DC/VA/PA.
My first experience with Kurzweil was 20 years ago, when I was first beginning to gig, and was looking for a board that felt and sounded the most like a piano (and that I could afford!). I came across a used K1000, which I eagerly bought, and I have been a Kurzweil girl ever since!
I just got a PC3LE, and have been using a PC1X for the last 6 years. Here's my band's old demo video (we are in the process of putting together a new one), where I am using my PC1X:

We are called "The Real Geniuses" (anyone get the reference?) and we do mostly private gigs, but also do some clubs, casinos, festivals, etc. We try to do at least one public gig a month - you know, for the exposure and to keep us sane.
Now I just have to program my new board! Kinda sucks that I cant just transfer from the PC1X, but I look forward to having even better sounds with the PC3LE. It's just going to take me a while!
I've also been filling in with buddies of mine and using the PC3LE - I just love it!
Anyway, I am very glad to have found this forum.
