Hello! I'm from northern Finland and my synth history is pretty lame.
1. Yamaha PSR-19 (omg, that "thing" is so bad that when you play with it you probably end to hang yourself)
2. Yamaha PSR-5500 ( it was still psr, but 64 polyphone and some decent sounds)
3. Yamaha PSR-8000 ( first keyboard that has screen size of a TV, which kurzweil doesn't own even today)
4. Yamaha Motif ES8 ( lame synth, very bad and annoying blurry sounds, why did bougth it, why!?!?)
5. Kurzweil PC3x ( First decent synth for me, finally!)
6. Roland XV-5080 (great 80's sounds, it's like going back time)
7. Lot's soft-synths but these doesn't count.
I bought my Kurzweil PC3x in 2010. It was my first Kurzweil ever. Now 6 year's later I'm still fan of Kurzweil although Kurzweil hasn't really that innovative as expected(still no K3000 or anything crazy). But anyways, the PC3x was cheap at back in time and it is even today pretty solid performer on gigs, it's true all-rounder synth.
I've been performer at least 15 years, all kind of music (black metal to jazz). Nowadays i just play pop and classical music.
