Hello, my name is Michael, born near Cologne I now live in Berlin.

My synth career started at the age of 16 with a used Korg Poly-800, soon accompanied by a Roland D-10, a Roland W-30 and a Roland U-20 (yes, a Roland-fanboy…).

In 1993 I finally scraped all my money together and bought my first Kurzweil, the K-2000, which I still own. After some more Keyboards as Casio FZ-1, Hammond XB-2, D-50, Fantom-X and Juno Stage (yes, still a Roland addict ) I took my money to the store for a PC-2, a great instrument with fantastic sounds.

Although it looks very impressive to have five or more keyboards on stage it is pretty exhausting to drag them all by yourself as long as you don’t find somebody who is willing to do the roadie-job.

So I decided to reduce my stage equipment radically and now there is only a Jupiter 80 and a PC3 K7, which have all the sounds I need (and much more) and are much better for my back…
