New Artis 7 user here from Croatia. I'm planing to use the Artis mainly as a midi controller but also to play its own sounds.

Use the sounds, they are of high quality. The synth engine can even do a shitload of stuff if you are willing to program it.
I know it is advertised as stage piano, but it has the engine of the PC3. And that is a derivate of the K2 series.
