I`m Daniel from germany. Since I got into playing keyboards I`m on the way with KORG workstations.
Later in 2008 I became a KORG endorsee. Startet with the famous OASYS, now I`m with the KRONOS.
So far, so good...
In 1999 I got a nice K2500 fully loaded and I was in love with that machine. But one day I had a very bad karma...
My beloved K2500 falls down the stairs (think there were 30steps, crocked steps...). The only thing I held in my hand was the grasp of my flight case. I got that slow-motion effect in my head seeing my love falling, and falling, and falling.
That`s the story of my K2500.
Since that I don`t get one anymore because the prices are very high these days.

So now, 17 years later, I got the chance of my life (I think so...).
About 4 weeks I got the K2500 AES (Audio Elite System) Prototype, the showroom model of Kurzweil Europe (Viersen).
That model has no Serial number, because it was made only for demonstration (Music Messe Frankfurt 1999).
Later Kurzweil makes a very small Series of the AES Systems, sold over 20.000,00$ per unit.
The father of those lays in my studio under a nice glas plate, looks and sounds a-ma-zing. Can`t describe it in other ways.

About 1 week, I had good karma to! So I got a "looking like new" K2600X with Sampling option, rom1+2, pram,
hd kit (scsi simulator), max ram 128mb and the rmb-26 daughter board.
The only options I miss are the rom 3+4. Know that the Triple Strike Piano in the K2600 is only "triple striked", when the rom 3 is installed. It adds 2 more strikes additional to the internal stereo piano (option for the K2500) and I would like to add this feature to my collected K2600...
So, if anybody has the chance to get those expansions, please (PLEASE) let me know that.
