Hi everyone! My Kurzweil is the PC3 76 model. I like most types of music, but I'm mainly interested in classic rock and indie rock. I'm a guitar player with an addiction to synthesized sounds. That being said, I only know a couple scales and the major/minor chords. I want to be able to use this keyboard to trigger sequences that can be played in real time with my band - therefor replacing a real band member that I've been having trouble finding. I assume this is doable using the "Riffs." I'm not 100% sure how to do this though. I have been tinkering around with uploading midi sequences, but I am having trouble changing the programs that play the sequences. (When I change/save them they continue to revert back to the original settings.) I know this keyboard is a vast and powerful tool with top notch sounds so I hope to be able to understand it better. At this point it is a little overwhelming. I have a pretty good understanding of subtractive synthesis, so I hope that helps a little. I look forward to learning and sharing ideas with everyone!

Welcome jottinge,

Little by little you'll end up mastering the PC3...
