I have a PC3K. I had a K2600s & PC2x since the early 2000s. Before that my main workstation was an Ensoniq EPS 16+. I currently still have classics: Ensoniq SQ80, Juno 106, Prophet 600, Roland RS09 (OrganStringMachine) and my first keyboard; a Casio CT-202 (1981)! I even had a Mirage back in the day too. Anyway, I obviously like gear and quality sound. Now a days, Kurzweil is above and beyond in sound integrity. It can have as much organic quality as my analogs but has sizzling depth and high-end punch that cuts through the mix.
I gravitate toward electronic music built on Jazz chords/obtuse structure. Otherwise I play in a modern praise and worship band at church each Sunday+. Life is very busy at this time in my life but hope to contribute when I can – glad to be a part of K Setlist.
