Hi, my name is Marcus Byrne, I've just got my first Kurzweil , a PC3x and I love it. I'm a professional session musician based in the U.K who currently plays with Take That, ELO. I've worked with Annie Lennox, Gary Barlow, Cheryl Cole, Kylie Minogue, Mika, Taio Cruz, The Saturdays and a whole bunch of others.
I'mpretty good at programming any keyboard but the PC3x is so different. I'll get it though. What a great sounding board

Hello, welcome and Greetings from Germany! Is this your first contact with a Kurzweil? Because, I guess you are into this job for a while now.
And yes, those things are a bit different in several aspects. There is some kind of different thinking behind the architecture. Once I found out I realized it´s somewhat more professional. Not to impress, but to be a tool of high quality without fancy eye/earcandy.
While you have some experience with romplers, analog synth and FM-synth you will get along. There are several aspects of all of those in this machine.
