Hello all,

I just decided to recover my ability to play music, I used to learn basic guitar with a my older friend's Gibson, I was 5! School did not help me at all... Stuck with that horrible plastic flute, teachers where kicking out of class because I was not following the partitions... ( I was playing what was sounding like Jethro Tull stuff ). Always interested in music, but I knew that one cannot plan a career in that, I have a college degree in electronics and ended as a senior Unix system administrator(for 23 years now)... So now I have a nice budget for that, my girlfriend has a piano and an acoustic Epiphone/Gibson, so I decided to bring back musical creation in my hobby's. I bought an Epiphone DOT, a MicroKorg and a great deal on Kurzweil PC3K8(for some reason, there is a very known music instruments store in Québec called Archambault, that are clearing out all Kurzweil stuff...). For amplifiers, I built them my self. I a big fan of DIY.

I'm a big fan of progrock from 70's to now and some heavy metal band (Well, Rammstein would be the only one I listen to often enough).
