Brand new user on this forum. I'm a former long time owner of an Ensemble Grande Mark IV. I just took delivery on a 'refurbished' Artis at a great price and am eager to explore its capabilities. I play in a semi-active band (everyone has real jobs except me; I'm retired). We do about 60% original material and 40% covers, mostly classic rock and blues. I'm mainly a guitar player but want to use the Kurzweil for laying down some backing tracks for a new CD the band is putting together. I'm just blown away by the sound quality of the Artis and hope I'm able to do it justice as we get to know each other. I'm also interested in adding PC3 sounds to the User bank on the Artis once I figure out which ones I need. Looking forward to following board discussions.
