Greetings all! My name is Larry, aka Kitchen_table (My first home studio was an 8 track setup on my kitchen table 30+ years ago) hence my little independent production company goes by the name Kitchen Table Productions. I purchased the SP6 (through Weisersound) as a lightweight replacement for my current failing stage piano (name and brand are off topic so I won't mention it). I've been performing professionally for over 40 years, and in recent years have some health/spinal issues, so lugging a 40-50lb+ 'Flagship' workstation to rehearsals, and/or gigs is out of the question. I don't use or need arpeggiator, loops, or on board sequencing, so the bare bones Stage Piano features on the SP6 will suit my live gig needs. First live gig out with the SP6 is tomorrow, and we're looking forward to it! I'm currently the musical director of a show band in So. Florida known as The Wolfepak Band - We have a website, facebook page, and Youtube channel. I also teach part time at a private music school 4 afternoons a week, and freelance session, and fill in gigs with other bands on a case by case basis. Don't have any cool videos of my new SP6 in action yet, but one never knows when something cool surfaces, I'll be happy to share with any interested parties.
Don't want to ramble on too much here on my first "introductory" post. I'm still in the honeymoon/learning stages with the SP6 and crash coursed myself to get it setup for this week's show... Wish us luck!... Until then....
Larry
