Hi there,
I am Koba currently living in Oman.
My second day with this new girlfriend called PC3K.
Enjoying it but have lots of questions, sometime PC3K gets capricious. But I guess I need to be understanding.
Hope to find answers to at least some of my question here in this forum.
Cheers.
Hi Koba,
Welcome!
Regards,
Fran
Is there some kind of a newbie's guide to PC3K, cause this Musician's guide sounds like rocket science to me a lot of times.
The videos on the Kurzweil site are really good. http://kurzweil.com/product/pc3k8/video/ I've watched them many many times. The first few times I watched just to get a good overview and let it all "sink in to my head". After the 3rd time I then stopped at interesting points and looked further into the Musicians Guide for more details.
You can also get them on YouTube here. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=P ... 0D9F2377A2 There are 2 extra chapters on YouTube (#7 and #12), so the chapter numbers don't quite line up with the numbers on the Kurzweil support page.
Annuello.
Hi,
Also the Knowledge Base at http://www.kurzweil.com is a great place to find very practical information.
Each product has a Support link, and there there is a link to the Knowledge Base.
For example, for the PC3K: http://kurzweil.com/knowledgebase/pc3k6/

Fran
Thanks Guys, I have watched and seen the suggested pages and they are great. I am certainly making progress.
However, it would be great to see a step by step sequencer tutorial which would show how a piece of music is made and recorded with all the layers and effects.

Manual has a quite in depth explanation of the sequencer.
Thanks for the replies. The Song Mode part is a bit vague though sometimes. Like it took me a while until I could find how to mute certain tracks while recording.
Also I wonder if or how is it possible to create what I believe you refer to as a RIFF. i.e. in a song there are patterns that are repeated in different chords (major/minor) and tonalities. So I don't have to play the whole length or the song.
