Hi Larry, and thanks for posting.
But I do not see any attachment here... Did you have problems uploading it?
@cecchino Yea, apparently, I still don't know what I'm doing - -I'll just going to delete this.
Try this cecchino it maybe a mumbled jumbled mess though! ?
Not happening! Geez!
Thank You!!! I will try the file this evening.
OK, boyz & girlz 😀 , after years of lurking, learning and getting programs and setups/multis for my PC3s, SP4s and PC4s, I can finally give a small contribution to the community. Nothing really original, as I took everything from Larry (this thread) Joerg ( https://ksetlist.com/community/t/toto-afrika/#post-7156) and other people who edited their work. I have created zones, trimmed filters and added/fixed controls to have the whole stuff in just one multi.
So, here you are my multi for PC4. Some bits of explanation:
Zone 1 (range C-1 - A#4) is the AfrBrass from Joerg with some filter trimmings. Controls are SW1 (sustain), Knob1 (LP freq) and Knob2 (LP Res)
Zone 2 (range C-1 - A#4) is piano, dubbing the brass when needed. Controls are SW1 (sustain) and Variation (acivates/deactivates the zone).
Zone 3 and 4 (range B4 - G9) are AfrikaMarimba, still from Joerg. Zone 4 is shifted -5ST to give the fifth effect of the original tune. Pedal SW2a turns these zones off when needed (second verse and solo)
Zone 5 (range B4 - G9) is MiniPulse 4 pole from Larry. The zone is activated by SW2a (latch) and temporarily deactivated by SW2b (see below), and starts with value 5 for the expression parameter (CC1 pedal will raise it during solo)
Zones 6-11 are MellowT Flutes. They come in when SW2a is pressed, but only zone 6 will be heard, as others have CC11=5 at start (CC1 pedal will raise during solo). Zone 6 alone will be used during 2nd verse, others are limited in range and shifted (-4ST or -5ST) so that the second voice of solo will be the one you hear in the tune.
Zones 12-16 are Real Vibes. They come in by pressing the SW2b pedal (during the central part of solo) and go out when releasing it. The shift/range scheme is the same as for zones 6-11.
Hope I didn't forget anything!
P.S. this was programmed on my PC4-88 (yes, I traded my original PC4-7 for this new one) so ranges may be not completely suited to the 76 keys version of the keyboard. As I have set the continuous controls to PassEntry, and my old EV-5 pedal rarely reaches the 0 value, I have set the CC11 initial value for some zones to 5 instead of 0.
Hi,
Thanks! There is always room for refinement for anything Toto 🙂

Fran
