I've played this song for decades and made a setup almost immediately after I got my PC3x some 3 years ago.
It's now up to 2.01 and I humbly think it"s a great setup, even to play the entire song on your own.
I used basic stock sounds but added some AUX FX that mimic the original (drenched in reverb) recording quite well. I've got a recent live DVD from 10CC and the sounds in my setup are quite similar to the sounds they use on stage. Actually, their keyboard player doesn't bother because the choir sound is run by the FOH engineer probably with a PC or Mac.
But with the PC3 you can do it all by yourself.
Here's how you use it:
Switch button 1 (above category buttons) starts the heartbeat and high hat
Switch button 2 kills the high hat leaving only the heartbeat
Zone 1 is the choir
zone 2 rhodes
zone 3 grand piano
zones 4 and 5 drums
Slider c volume choir
slider d volume rhodes
slider e volume grand piano
slider g FX choir
slider h FX Rhodes
slider i FX grand piano
CC pedal 2 expression Choir
The choir and rhodes are stacked. The sustain pedal works as sutenuto for the choir and sustain for the rhodes.
The grand start one octave above middle C. You need it for the chorus and the part with the bass solo and the very end.
Don't forget to load the song '10ccsong' before you start the setup. Somehow the song isn't automatically loaded with the setup, maybe somebody can tell me what i did wrong here.....
I attached a link to a small MP3 example of the setup.
I added a bass loop, the rest is all in the setup. logic 8.

You can use this setup for lounge stuff like this simple demo, nothing serious, just played some improvisation, well, maybe not even that , over a 1 bar loop, but you get the point.
Enjoy and tell me what you think,
cheers

Just loaded this on my SP6. Excellent job! Great song with beautiful multitracked vocals and a swimming Rhodes. you've paid homage to a classic. Thank you for sharing.
