Greetings!

So, I "had" an xD card to use with my PC361.
Somehow, it got misplaced, so I went and purchased another one.
PC361 didn't recognize the card, so after some dickering, it allowed me to enter the
initialize screen. Then It sat in "Formatting" view for 25 or so minutes.

Yup, it isn't recognized by my PC361.

So, back to the computer and reinitialized it, just in case it wasn't set to FAT16.
Had to do a quick initialize and then did the long one. Some sort of glitch.

After about 25 min's, it had finished and I brought it back to the PC361....and it doesn't recognize it.
States that it needs to be initialized.

Sadness.

What now?

Does anyone have one of those "S" cards they state being the best combatible for this keyboard
for sale??? Does it look the same as the M+ 1Gb card??

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Lastly, I have never worked with the USB aspect of the Kurzweil.
Can I save my current setups and such to the computer (via USB)
AND!!!
Can I also access the setups that I have stored on the computer (that I was trying to get from the M+ card)??

Yes, no experience here, thus my query to this great collective.

Thx. in advance.

B9

Hi,

My recommendation is that you try to use USB... as long as you don't try to store tons of things in one file (the virtual drive is not too big), it should be fine for you. Just follow the instructions of the manual.

Regarding xD cards, there are many different formats and sizes... the smaller and older the better in general. Here all the info: http://kurzweil.com/knowledgebase/pc3/storage_mode/248/

Regards,
Fran
