I have 2 things about my Forte 7 that must improve, but I don't know if it's possible.
1. I had this problem also with my K2600XS. When cycling through multis (or setups on the K2600) with my boss foot switch pedal, there's a level peak or a small gap right after entering a multi. Seems like it takes a little while to load all of the patches and adjust to the volume levels specified in the multi.
Especially organs take a while to load.
Last week on a gig, I switched to a multi with a certain clav sound in it, and an enormous blast came out of my monitor. Really loud!!
Maybe I should upload an mp3 where this problem is clearly noticeable. Or does anyone know what I'm talking about?
2. How can I make my volume slider NOT change the volume? Is there a setting to fix it?
I once reached for the 'Variation' button on a gig and by accident I hit the volume slider (pushed it all the way up).. Aauwch!
On the K2600, when I used the A outputs, I couldn't change the volume with the slider.
I want that on my Forte.

1.Multi transition it's not really smooth in the current OS...I've experienced the infamous crash sound a few times, as well as some other glitches, like Aux FXs and EntryValues not being loaded...I think the problem is mostly related to the effects management...
2.As far as I know you can't "disable" the Volume slider, there's no option for that in the Global Mode.
Best thing is get in touch with contact Kurz support and drop a note asking for this feature, could be useful!

Right,
thanks, Mac06.
I think I'll contact the Kurz support and ask them about the slider settings.
Hopefully they can get rid of this 'crash' sound sometime, cause it's really annoying.
