Hello people!
I have not dived deep enough into my PC2k6, but question is:
Is it possible to open up the frequencies of a program (or setup) with a expresionpedal? I know it probably is (everything is possible with this maschine, but don`t know the easiest way to do it)
What I would like is to take a pianoprogram (could be any sound), have it dull without top frequencies and set the pedal to open it up to a normal sound!
Would I have to make it on a setup basis or is it possible within a program mode?
No one doing this or is it too easy to do to give an answer?
Here's how i would do it:
Program edit page
Prog FX page
Insert: 59 Resonant filter or some other filter you like
press edit
Mod 1
Adjust the parameters and assign the source to your pedal controller.
In other words, put a lowpass filter on the whole program as an insert and use the cc pedal to control the filter frequency.
Hope it helps,
Phil
Thanx again...wil check it out!
This very much depends on the particular program.
It's actually easier to do this in VAST, than with effects, if the program has a filter in the algorithm. This can be complex because if a program has multiple layers then you may need to do it for each filter, and if a program has cascade in it.
Basically pick the program, press edit, go to the Algorithm page to find the filter. Cursor to it and press edit, or press the DSPMOD button. You will want to set Src1 to Expression (Hold Enter and move the pedal) and adjust the Depth parameter.
The expression pedal will now be assigned to control the filter cutoff.
