Hi,
is it possible to load (into FORTE) sounds from PC3 or PC3LE?
I'm a new owner and I'm interested on Pink Floyd patches
Thanks in advance.
Fulvio
Hi,
Yes, you can load PC3-family Programs into Forte. You might need to tweak the entry values for some parameters after loading them, but they will load.

Fran

Thanks for the help!
I need to change the file extension from .PC3 to .FOR ? (I'm writing from work so I don't have the keyboard with me).
Another question:
could someone suggesting me the best pad to play the "Shine On You Crazy" intro?
Hi,
If you leave the extension as is, then the Forte will try to do the best conversion possible, so that would be normally the best way.

TNX hipogrito!

Any suggestion?
Hoping this is a related enough question for this thread. I have 'New Owner Anxiety Syndrome'
In working with the incredible banks available in the Compilations thread, I expect to download onto my Mac, put them on a flash drive, and then into the Forte. At which point can I select only what I want?
At the download to Mac?
At the copy to flash drive?
At the load into Forte?
Or, does one download the whole list, load into Forte, and then delete what isn't needed or wanted afterwards?
And, there are a lot of sounds here, thanks to ksetlist. How many can a Forte 7 take?
And, how often to you back up your machines?
Anxiously,
Aint Misbehavin
Hi,
Please read the Forte manual related Storage Mode. By the way, a new manual update is coming soon. But that will help you to understand how you can load stuff into the Forte.
I would put all the files in a thumb drive, and then load selectively.
Have fun!

Fran
Thanks!
I'm already having fun!
