I consider myself to still be an amateur, but I'm actually pretty much willing to take a stab at playing anything as long as I like the beat and the melody.

I'm pretty much still in my experimental phase, trying to find my groove.

Like if you play happy modern stuff with friends in a covers band, but secretly have a closet love affair with haunting 80s music...

Some individual tracks I strongly dislike hearing but love to play - like Genesis Mama, playing those 16ths.

Again, you missed the opportunity to add Funk&Soul

I do have soul but with oldies.... but yeah, FUNK! totally missed it again.... but yeah, endless number of genres, so please be creative...

The mix of "Oldies" and "Soul up to 60ties" should have been simply "Oldies" (it´s all the old stuff) and "Funk, Soul, R&B" - maybe just call it "Black music" the same. I guess this hits the middle of the area best. This is a big genre that´s really missing and it does not really fit into any others - besides top 40 maybe. The same time the rock department has 3 sub genres. But well, the Kurzweil world is not crowded with Funk&Soul enthusiasts. I guess you are also none
