Hi. Like some newcommers here I really liked sonikM. However that love affair is comming to an end. It just dawned on me the other day that I started playing piano over fifty years ago. Because of my life's choices I never made a living at it. I just never stopped playing. Three years ago I was sitting in church watching the band and thought "why dosn't someone play that electronic keyboard up there?" Well after playing piano my whole life I figured "It can't be that hard to play" Thus started my love affair with Kurzweil. That first board was the church's SP88x. After working with it for a while I wanted more voices. So then I bought the SP4-8. What a cool machine. Layers, Splits and some KB3's. Well that's never enough. So I've sold the SP4-8 to the church and I'm looking to buy a used PC3x for myself soon. Well that sums it up for now. Cheers! ~BOB

Pity the loss of Sonik, it was a great forum. There are other forums out there like cunka or the keyboard corner, apart of several non-English ones like hispasonic and others. Still a good bunch of places to talk about keyboards!
Of course, here as well. We try to focus on sounds and songs mainly, but any Kurzweil discussion is welcome.
