Hi erverybody,
Does anyone have some sounds for the Black Eyed Peas song I Got A Feeling? Or suggestions what kind of samples / waveforms / effects should be the basis for programming these sounds. Although this forum is already a help and inspiration for finding the right sounds, I keep struggling with translating the things I hear in a song to my PC3.
Any examples / suggestions are appreciated.

Hi,
This is the setup I have been using. It's not the greatest. but perhaps you can edit it to suit your taste.
Lower zone plays the main riff.
Upper plays the verse elec piano.
When you want strings, hit the orchestra and strings bank buttons to mute the rhodes and turn on zone 5.
Zone 6 is an extra bass zone, In case your bass player gets arrested the day on the gig. 
I went with a clavinet sound, but you might go with something more analogue with a very fast decay.
On the verse a pianet like #272 may sound better.
The cello may be too muddy with the band. I like it for the intro.
