Dear all,

Yes, we have a winner of this Challenge...

The one and only Christian Wagner!!!

Christian Wagner is a hobby musician from southern Germany and was co-founder and keyboard player of the regionally successful cover rock band "Edelherb" ( http://www.edelherb.com ). He played more than 300 gigs but left the band for work reasons. Originally he counted on Yamaha gear (Motif) but switched to Kurzweil PC3K7 about a year ago.

These are his recommendations to play the song:

First - the brass sound that is present throughout the song (for me not a synth brass but a regular set of saxes, mainly!)
Second - the string synth sound of the chorus.
Third - the actual brass/synth brass sound heard on the end of the chorus, but especially towards the end of the song.

My Approach:
Zone 1 : E5 - C6: #59 BigBand (for me 1:1 the “original”) - the earcatcher of this song
Zone 2 : C0 - D#5: #1042 StrgQuadraPad (own program) - for the chorus
Zone 3 : C0 - D#5: #1043 SynthStringPad (own program) - dito (to make it more lush)
Zone 4 : C#6 - xxx : #3371 Split SectionSW (Kore64) - for the subtle riff in the refrain
Zone 5 : C#6 - xxx : #3381 Classic Synth Brass (Kore 64) - dito

Some remarks:
I prefer playing the brass riff with my right hand (although low tones) and the synth strings with my left hand (although high tones) for convenience reasons, this is why it’s laid out that way.
If Kore64 is not available, I guess it should be easy to replace those last 2 zones with an adequate Brass/SynthBrass Sound.
Sustain pedal is only enabled for the SynthString.
Slider A controls the volume of one of the Synth String pads in order to enhance it according to your taste and the dynamics of the song.

Regards,
Fran
