I hope that they give you a second chance, I also own a PC3LE6 and have learned what not to do. Don't use the soundtower editor, it will cause problems and don't just load every sound that you can get your hands on, if you have a lot that are not compatible it will also cause problems. I made a purchase from the art of sound who do a great job but have never made a update to fix the effects that I can not control, very frustrating. The pc3le6 is a great keyboard but because it does things a little bit different from it's big brother there is a little less support.

So,using editor and creatin fx chains with 10 or less units causes problems too?

All i can say is after several reboots because of notes and sound freezing up I stopped using the desktop editor and have become a little picky about what sound files I upload into the PC3LE6. I have not had any problems recently other than the sound sources that I have purchased from have never given me an update so that I can tweak the effects. I have been watching V.A.S.T. videos and would love to learn how to add the effects in myself and would also be willing to be a beta tested but I not sure if I am knowledgeable enough.

Bought a PC3LE8. After a year it began to have errors. Had lots of e-mail correspondence between my reseller, repair facility, the importer and several Kurzweil Emplyees. (still thanks to all of you for putting up with me !)
Since i had no board to play during repair time, wich took too long because of waiting for a new keybed, i checked other boards. In my musical history i had a nice experience with the antique Yamaha SY series.
In the end i decided to trade the Kurzweil (big thanks to my reseller (music house Willy Dera Heerlen The Netherlands) for doing everything he could to help and please me!) for a MOXF-8 (the 'new' mox with double the polyphony and a sample board expansion possibility).

It's 'nice' but having said that.. that's all to it.. All sounds seem to drown in their effect, there are NO drawbar possibilities, the 128 voice polyphony doesn't come anyway near the Kurzweil 64 voice dynamically allocated polyphony, there are only 4 zones programmable, the user interface sucks big time, and when switching from voice to voice... the music stops: all pressed keys, effects and whatsoever receive the signal: shut up!

Okay, so far for my story.. here they are: I offer my apologys to Kurzweil for cheating on you! I will continue playing the MOXF (have to: cash flow ended when wife said so ) but I will be saving for a Kurzweil again (no pc3le anymore, sorry. Saw the Flashplay facebook status.. Like)
