I read specs of PC4 and found the weight is 13,01 Kg

looking at 88 keys keyboards there are:

FORTE 21,8 Kg
ARTIS 21,0 Kg
PC3A 24,5 Kg
PC3K 24,5 Kg

even if quality cannot be evaluated by the weight I wonder where is the difference
Why is PC4 is able to be nearly 40% - 50% lighter then previous flagship models ?

I think, the answer is very simple: the heaviest point in a keyboard are the keys.
Kurzweil uses a medelli K6 and not a fatar TP40 ( = Forte).
Same effect works in a SP6

I have a 88 keys Kurz, PC2X, about 24Kg; it is a legacy product by now but its keybed is still good.

I also have Kurz PC3K6, about 12Kg and synth-type keybed; it has a very good touch feeling compared to my Korg M50, 6.8Kg, whose keybed is the worse I never had (M50 has other interesting features and its light-weight sometimes is a pro)

What about a comparison between FORTE (Fatar TP40 keybed) and PC4 (MEDELLI K6 keybed) ?

Yesterday I had the opportunity to test a PC4 in Milano.
My focus was on keybed, and my doubts are confirmed
The keybed is not so good as previous Kurz models. Keys bounce in an unusual way; not a good choiche for a 88 weigthed PRO keybord, in my opinion.

Did anyone test and get the same feeling ?
