Did some research, just establishing a fair playing-field, apparently the original sound is a minimoog, tape delay, and layered with a sampled horn sound from a Fairlight -- http://www.nxtbook.com/nxtbooks/newbay/ ... startid=88
There is a preset program that sounds like both shine on u cr lead and Only time will tell lead...with a little VASTing it sounds realy close..

How about a tutorial on how you would achieve this sound. I own a PC3LE and I am in the beginning stages of understanding how to edit in v.a.s.t. and I'm not sure of what the LE is capable of. I would contribute if I could,so please don't think that there is a lack of interest, only a lack of knowledge. This site is greatly appreciated by many so please keep posting and don't get dicouraged and hopefully soon more will be able to contribute.

I wasn´t very active the least months, but I was working on this fanfare sound a while ago. It´not that perfect, but I have programmed twoe version of it (a "quick Kore64" version and one "normal" version). If someone if still interested in this sound I will post it!

As I am involved into a project programming sound for Korg Kronos i won´t be very active for next months. But don´t be afraid I will still make new sound for PC3 in the future!

Hm, I was just diggin out this old thread. I kind of feel ashamed that ONLY ONE participant has come up. I kept myself out, because it´s not cool to win when only one or 2 people try to win the priZe. YES WIN a PRIZE, since there was the Bravo soundset to win, from Mastering Vast. There is a word in german: Fremdschämen.

just wondering about Genesis Abacab patch. It almost sounds like in the single note there is an added fourth. I am just wondering if there’s a way to remove that fourth in the note so to play single notes like Tony Banks In the song. IE( CG,). Thanks. By the way Great Patch.
